CREATIVE ENTREPRENEURSHIP: BUILD IT AND WILL THEY COME?
KYLE CHOW OF PLANT
Many among us have said, “I could make that” when something unique catches our eye. Kyle is one who actually does it. And so, on a sunny day in the Pacific North West began a journey he could never have expected.
Kyle has a Bachelor of Design, instructs graphic design and typography courses in the School of Visual Communication Design at ACAD, and owns/operates Plant in Calgary, AB. Kyle's design expertise has provided him with a skill set that has helped him tremendously in spreading Plant fever and creating a business that has made the spaces of so many a little bit more beautiful. From his keen eye and tireless work ethic has emerged not only an innovative, beautifully designed product line, but a space that offers an engaging, frequently evolving, peaceful atmosphere for anyone who wants to add a bit of green to their home.
Besides making black thumbs green, Kyle enjoys watching political satire, sipping cocktails on the front porch, and traveling through the country in a u-haul looking for old rusty junk with his wife, Erika, and everyone’s favourite shop dogs Lake and Clyde.
